Oh man, new Emi. Hot stuff.
I do find the sketchiness of her sprites a little unsettling, though. In a vacuum it's not bad at all, but the difference in style is noticeable when other girls are around. She's got this little pointy chin...

Re: Katawa Fortress 2
I mean, do the models change but the hitboxes stay the same, or what? Because there is a sizable difference between, say, Misha and a Heavy (Hurrdurrmishafatdurrrrr). If someone without the custom model shot the heavy's flank, on the person with the custom model, it would just miss her side or so ...

Re: Misha's Future?
Well... it IS totally possible to have a disease that wouldn't be so easy to spot and could be lethal.
Strictly speaking, yes, it would be possible . It would still be rather contrived, though.
It would also run the risk of overshadowing the actual substance of Shizune's path. Shizune's ...

Re: Misha's Future?
Misha dying? I hope that's not the case. Any Sudden, Dramatic Death would be a cheap injection of drama for drama's sake, I feel. We already have the specter of mortality looming over the story with Hisao's condition- I hope that, if the developers feel there needs to be more tension, they'll mine ...

Re: Favorite girl.
I like all the girls. Lilly is my favorite, and my first choice, but I enjoyed all of their routes in Act 1 and look forward to exploring them all when the full game rolls out. In that, I consider myself fortunate.

Re: Happy Birthday, Miki!
I figure the bandages are there for one of three reasons:
The bandages are there to help define the missing limb. It's a relatively small depiction in a rather crowded scene; maybe the artist worried that the nature of the missing hand might be overlooked or misinterpreted- that it's being held ...

Re: Katawa Shoujo realistic portraits
I like these. They're a bit jarring at first, being so different from the anime style of the game's sprites and most of its art, but after the "style shock" passes I find it fascinating to look at the characters from a new angle such as this. I hope we'll see Emi and Lilly as well.

Re: Opinion
I did read about the idea of not having voices but in my opinion as a frequent h-games player all voiceless games FAIL big time.
Fail how? People are still gonna enjoy it. If people still play the game and like what they play, how could it ever be a failure? It's not like 4LS has any financial ...
