Update
alright everyone. finished a lot of my side projects and ideas for now. i've had enough of a break from this and i should hope to start actually typing it all out in the next week or so, depending on how work does me on hours. unlike the first parts, i'm going to actually plot out certain events in ...

Re: The Blind Leading The Blind
Remember that signing has some sound it it. The hand movements and gestures do make noise. It might sound rather odd to a blind person. Hand rubbing and taps in different locations would sound odd if you couldn't see it lol. that does get brought up when shizune and misha are together, though ...

Re: The Blind Leading The Blind
QUESTIONS ~ you're not required to answer any, of course, but i'm curious as to what your responses might be. 1. do you believe that naofumi could be a real person, or is at least mostly believable? 2. when you read this, do you imagine it from a third-person perspective, watching what occurs ...

Re: The Blind Leading The Blind
CONTINUED - The sound her backpack makes when landing on the carpet is a muddled thump of a noise, books and stationary alike coming to an unexpected rest at ground level. With some minor fuss along the lines of maneuvering amidst my somewhat massive desk, Kayane manages to free the annoying time ...

FALSE ALARM NO UPDATE YET
i has a question. with regards to the use of braille usage in the story (later and maybe some insertions into already-posted bits), i ask you: is it better to use braille that is already translated in meaning (as in, it's in english braille grade 1 or 2 already, might use grade 1 for ease of use ...

Re: The Blind Leading The Blind
to clarify~ what i have posted so far has all been the first chapter, ending in the next bit. there are two chapters left in the entirety of the story itself. not sure whether i should continue in this thread when the time comes or start a new one. i'm sure i'll have an idea by that time, though ...

Re: The Blind Leading The Blind
CONTINUED - WARNING: there are some insinuations, and also a fairly direct statement about personal upkeep I am awakened by a dreadful and terrifying sensation. With tears welling in my eyes, I grasp my open mouth desperately in confusion. One hand outstretched above me in restraint, the other ...

Re: The Blind Leading The Blind
A few grammar things; nothing major, but: Misha makes her departure , locking the door and closing it afterward. She is locking the door and closing it afterwards? And how does she lock it at all if she left the keys on the desk? I assumed it was one of those doors where you can lock it by pushing ...

Re: The Blind Leading The Blind
CONTINUED - With little effort, I simply drop my cane and manage to untie my shoes. My right shoe puts up a stubborn fight, but I'm more than able to free my foot from its snare - no obvious odors at the present, gladly. I leave the set near what I'm hoping was the location of my shoulder bag ...

Re: The Blind Leading The Blind
CONTINUED - Actually... "Misha?" I ask, tapping her elbow. "Hmm?" "I think I should try to do this on my own." I release my light hold on her arm and steady myself. "Just tell me which direction to go and make sure I don't wander too far off-course." "Okie~!" she says, gleefully humming about behind ...

Re: The Blind Leading The Blind
Seriously, why do you have to be so good at this? I'm calling into question my own writing abilities after reading this. you give me too much credit, really. i need to exercise my vocabulary more, and should be taking this at a slower pace. the only thing i really have going for me is that i have a ...

Re: The Blind Leading The Blind
CONTINUED - I'm fuming. I want to punch something, and this door is a viable target. Lilly tries to calm me. It's futile, but she is one to try. "Naofumi, it's alright. We'll just need to search where we've been today , and-" "We've been a lot of places today, Lilly," I cut in abruptly. "They could ...

Re: The Blind Leading The Blind
CONTINUED - Lilly's really taking her time in there, or she's already on the phone. Either way, I've at least made on more acquaintance at the academy. Misha seems like a good girl, even if she is too loud for her own good, sometimes. I bet she has loads of friends, probably a boyfriend at this ...

Re: The Blind Leading The Blind
CONTINUED - "Lilly, you're so good at that! I didn't even need to tell you who I was~." I've already imprinted that voice into my brain for eternity. I doubt Lilly would have trouble accomplishing that much either. Still, it's a very friendly and cute voice, just too loud for casual speech like this ...

Re: The Blind Leading The Blind
CONTINUED - The cafeteria is very noisy. I don't hear many separate voices or anything, but the sound of trays and idle chatter carries a long way, echoing throughout the large room. I'm getting nervous about this. At my old school, I was never one to get my own meals. Would we be standing in line ...
