Emi has always been Tamura Yukari for me. Original Emi reminded me of Sunohara Mei in certain sprites, new Emi just upgraded it to Yamada from B Gata H Kei.

The photo of the winding road into town is the road leading into Shirakawa-go, more commonly known as " Hinamizawa "
