I got a Lily bad end - at least, I hope it's a bad end - and it completely and utterly crushed me. I'm going to have to wait a few days before I even try and get the good one, because I can't even seem to look at the game right now without wanting to bawl.

Headbutts for the win. Just because one doesn't have arms doesn't mean we don't have a ton of various appendages :D She'll probably need to do full-on shoulder rams/tackles at some point. No doubt. The biggest thing I'm trying to watch out for is a way for her to do low attacks - it's hard for her ...

Thanks for the video ref, Necrous. Can you do some standing low kicks, high roundhouses and high knees? Something tells me we'll need low kicks and/or knees for quick pokes, and the roundhouse for a heavy attack. Also, if you can work out any way for an armless person to crouch and poke at somebody ...

Well, they're already Source engine compatible, so they'd work there anyways. Although getting any of them other than Lilly's and Rin's to make any sense might be tough...

Wow, I haven't been on this topic for a while. How goes the actual construction of the game? I remember seeing some sprite designs and such but nothing past that Probably best described as "slow." We're still moving, but not rapidly. The guy doing our basic keyframes has been too busy to churn out ...

I'm not so sure about that character roster as well. For one Misha is a really terrible omission and for two she's been omitted over much more minor characters like Yuuko, Nurse and Mutou. Seriously put Misha in there and give her an awesome drill based special. Then consider cutting the roster ...

Posing the question to the wider community: If Lilly fights with her cane using it like a sword, or even outright using a sword, should she be a fencer or a kendo practitioner? Everyone seems to be pretty well-set that they want to see her using her cane, so I've come to this question here.

We came to a consensus that it seemed logical to have Shizune be the only one with formal training. Her personality suits it and she has all of her limbs, so it added up nicely. Things are still pretty fluid for the rest of the characters, but I wouldn't say anybody should be expecting that aspect ...

It's not critical. Annoying, but not critical. All the most important stuff is still in my head, as far as gameplay structure goes.
