Re: Blooper Reel
This seems like a good time to remind everyone that these shops are explicitely against the KS licence, Even though you're using a non-deriv license, US copyright law - as well as many other Berne Convention signatories' laws - allows people to parody the work without permission from the authors ...

I can't tell what Emi's legs are made of...fish?
And Mishune is totally giving me CatDog flashbacks.

Re: Blindness cured...
What about blind people with Synesthesia? I see what you did there. >.> Notguest- I don't really want to argue anymore, but I really think that you're not getting what I'm saying: if you have never experienced a certain sense at all, I think it'd be extremely hard or impossible to have someone ...

Re: Blindness cured...
I wonder if they even translate color into braille when they're making books; it'd be like reading a book where someone keeps talking about smission. What's smission? I don't know! While they may not be able to have the subjective experience of color, they can certainly understand what color is ...

Re: Blindness cured...
Whether it can be 'cured' or not is really a matter of just why they're blind in the first place. If it's simply damage to the eye itself, with all the sections of the brain and nervous system relating to sight still intact, then it's mostly a matter of science advancing enough that we can reliably ...

Re: World of Katawarcraft? (that was a bad title)
Honestly, I could really see Shizune, Misha, and Hanako playing WoW. Emi just isn't the gaming type, and Lilly couldn't for obvious reasons. Rin might do it, but I doubt it; her personality just doesn't jive with the kind you need to devote hours and hours to a game. Shizune and Misha love games ...

Re: Katawa Shoujo Act 1 Preview feedback thread
Ok, I know this is a double-post but editing is for pansies. ;P This is a dialogue-related thing- in the scene where Hisao first meets Rin, he references the talk he has with Muto right before that scene...even if you had lunch with Shizune and Misha, meaning that you didn't have that talk with him ...

Re: Katawa Shoujo Act 1 Preview feedback thread
So...Hisao's parents don't even say goodbye to him. I noticed this on the first run through, but it seemed particularly egregious later. It's like, "Hey son, sorry about not catching that whole heart thingy that might kill you and packing you off to a school for cripples right after you got ...

Is Hanako Wrex's waifu? (And for all of you who said "fuck no, she's mine", are you going to press the issue with a krogan mercenary?) C'mon, dude. Who would you rather have as your waifu? A burn victim or a BATTLETOAD! ? ...can't you have both? Very excellent as always, Ernest. Out of curiosity ...

Re: Katawa Shoujo Act 1 Preview feedback thread
This seems like a stupid question  ... but will Hisao actually learn sign language at some point in the Shizune path? It just seems having an interpreter who can't help but sound happy makes having serious or romantic conversations impossible. The best guess that I've heard in relation to ...

Re: hey that was my idea!
TV-Tropes is my disability. Katawa Shoujo II character: Misha's cousin has Troup-itis, she insists on EVERYTHING being a media trope. I find it difficult to discuss tv shows, movies, etc. with other people because I have a tendency to unconsciously start using trope-words. Then I have to stop and ...
