I slightly disagree with you here. Mankind may be arrogant and its hubris may know very few bounds but we are far from considering ourselves perfect. We surely cosider ourselves superior to animals and probably certain other humans but the realm of perfection is something only religion can explore ...

There's a contradiction in the way you've shaded her. Her eye makes it look as though she's lit from below and off the the right, but her hair looks like she's under a spotlight. Where is the light source supposed to be coming from? If she is spotlit, you might also add a little shading just below ...
