Re: The Shizune vs. Lilly scene
Thank you, G3n0c1de, for giving me some starters. The only winner in this scene is Hisao and the player by extension because who is right in this argument can not be determined. Hisao wins by default because he bears witness to a moment devoid of pretended friendship but not as bad as open hostility...

Excuse me if I can not grasp the obvious but what kind of discussion do you want to stir between us?

Or she should listen to this.SirMax wrote:Hanako should listen to some MSI, if only for Hisao's face when he finds out.
Could also be a good theme music for any yandere action.

Re: Swimwear!?
Dragging it vaguely back on to the plausibility of the beach episode, as far as I know Lilly's from a wealthy family, so she could have a beach scene (perhaps by extension, Hanako; Lilly 'loans' it for the two lovebirds?) If her family is so wealthy why does her sister has to live so far away from ...

Re: Swimwear!?
Funny thing; someone on another forum said that the flag I designed for Shizune looked like something the Super Nazis would use.* So it may in fact be the other way around... With that in mind, what kind of swimsuit would Super Nazis wear? Anyone who has some familiarity with nazis should know they...

Re: A22's Blogpost
Shizune is far and away the most strong willed of the girls (well, Emi may very well be close, but in a different fashion) so it's not much of a surprise to see her viewed as the "antagonist" even jokingly. If by any chance you are able to bypass an any negative moral implications you can...

Re: A22's Blogpost
Every girl, except Hanako, dominates Hisao through Act 1, Lilly and Shizune are the best examples. Lilly's domination is even more thorough than Shizune's but whereas Lilly's path changes Hisao into something she considers her equal Shizune's path turns Hisao (at first) into an underling who has to...

Re: A22's Blogpost
Okay, I hope I will not derail this thread completely. Anyone who is familiar with the genre of Visual Novels is aware that the main character's pesonality is more or less an empty box with a question mark on it so that anyone can fill with whatever chracteristics they might want to project onto thi...

Re: A22's Blogpost
My problem lies in what Hisao has to become in order to date Shizune. To be fair the same thing happens with Rin: Hisao clearly couldn't give a shit about art if he doesn't pursue her. Hanako and Lilly represent paths that so far don't require Hisao to show an interest in something he ordinarily wo...

Re: A22's Blogpost
Same problem as Pimmy. From what I can assume some reasons for disliking Shizune reveal al lot about what those people who post it endured in their own life or they can at least empathize with her "victims". I will not go into that - personal matters of unknwon people are a no-go for me. I...

Re: 10th July, 1990
I personally didn't find it as sob-inducing as everyone else seems to have. I'm not saying I didn't find it effective, just that for me it felt more touching than depressing. Even knowing that he wasn't going to live to see her 20th birthday it seems more like a positive thing than a sad one. With ...

Re: A22's Blogpost
Now that the trolling is over there remains the message in that particular blogpost.
"Are we (or rather some of us) treating Shizune unfairly?"
I may have to include myself in the latter group since I have stated in these forums that I categorized her path as the most uncomfortable for me.

Re: Music you associate with KS
Taking the idea of The Commissar further along there is one instrumental piece I always think of when I read anything related to romance. Hear our prayer (Kajiura Yuki): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3LqKuPPxi_M And one for Kenji - our hero: The Art of War (Sabaton): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=...
