Re: Pronunciation of names?
Both "nose" and "flower" are pronounced the same way. According to the thing i checked out from the library, they have different tones on the syllables. C'est la vie They can, but they don't at the same time. And yes, the pun has been made before...first time I saw it was in an episode of Bottle ...

Re: Are the hentai scenes important
I think the pregnancy thing, if handled well (and the devs seem to have their shit together as far as character and plot development is concerned IMHO), can add to the overall story, correct? :) it definitely did in yume miru kusuri ! and what is this with you people saying it's fine if he pulls ...

Re: Skin grafts?
I've actually seen people with skin grafts (I live in an affluent area where people can afford to have it done if they need to...or they win a lawsuit against the whatever that burned them...but that's another topic that has nothing to do with this) and they range from either lighter or darker than ...

Re: Favorite visual novel?
I would have to say Katawa Shoujo, School Days(though the bad endings were a bit much),Brass Restoration(The bad ends make you feel hurt though), Moonlight Walks, Tsukihime, Moon Phase, and finally Wanko to Kuraso(i loved animal ears and tails so I tried it and loved it :D There's a VN called Moon ...

Re: Favorite visual novel?
This topic took an interesting turn of events... >_> Princess Waltz discussion is getting me a little interested in the game now. If only to know which girl is which. That link looks interesting, but blah, IRC. Ah well. Guess I'll have to re-install. Oh, Quartett is a game by Littlewitch? Didn't ...

Re: Favorite visual novel?
Princess Waltz talk Princess Waltz -- Good to see another person who played this. Lun Lun was well done from my perspective as well. I did not initially think so, but as the game progresses, she became much more interesting than the others. Anyone played Snow Sakura? It is very much slice-of-life ...

Seems a bit cliche'd. considering there's a "healthy" population of /d/eviants here, and the forum rules on /d/ are regularly broken unintentionally (at least moreso than other 4chan boards) EVERYTHING IS CLICHE! Rule 34 is cliche! That's true I'll just be disappointed if they have a trap who's ...

Re: Hideaki
I originally thought that they were discussing one of the girls' virginity (or lack thereof), but that wouldn't fit the mood of a VN like KW. An ex-boyfriend is more likely. Lilly already has a big sister tacked onto her route, so she's out. Emi's the loli option and a character like that would ...

Re: Questions for "stereo"-hearing people
um, wait, i'm completely lost here. Sorry for my ignorance but don't most people hear in stereo? Not if they're completely deaf in one ear. I guess I should've made that clear in the OP; it must be slightly more of a leap of logic to link "monaural hearing" with "one-eared hearing" than I thought ...

Re: Favorite visual novel?
In my case, I actually do have to keep it secret. Despite being over 18, to save on rent I still live at home. My family doesn't know about my collection, and I'd prefer to keep it that way :) I guess it was different in my house growing up. With my dad and 2 younger brothers it could get hard ...

Re: Favorite visual novel?
oh i know where to get plenty of H-Games (my sizeable collection on my computer and in my...secret drawer...are testament to that)... Just a random thought, why do we guys call it a "secret" drawer or "secret" stash when almost 100% of guys have the stuff. How the heck can that be "secret"?? Secret ...

Re: Favorite visual novel?
so is that site all translation patches? or the full game? Personally I have...issues...with DLing games for free that are available in English...makes me feel like I'm stealing (yeah yeah downloading ones not available in English is technically the same, but Japanese games are hideously overpriced ...
