Re: Questions for "stereo"-hearing people
Do you find it strange, uncomfortable, or unnatural listening to monaural audio through stereo equipment? Not really unless it's something complex that purposely makes use of the different channels. Most stuff I encounter is pretty balanced so it's mostly the same thing coming out each side anyway ...

Re: A good read
The human brain is capable of things that seem plain ridiculous by what we currently understand and is amazingly adaptable. We have simply not developed or learned to control the vast majority of its capacity. Even the most highly gifted individuals still don't use most of what's there. And much of ...

Epicness
Emi is starting to look quite appealing. Love the music too; would be awesome having that made into a longer song.

Re: Emi's New Sprites
Personally I liked the eyes of the new sprite better from the start. Also, given it still has a bit of a sketched look to it, this new design may "soften" some in the final sprite.

Re: Emi's New Sprites
The original version is cute as hell. Well I think so at least. But not really suited for the style of KS obviously.
Having a comparison of just the sprites there without background, etc, the new one is definitely better.

Re: Emi's New Sprites
It takes some adjusting and I like the original loli-bait look too, but I think it does work out better overall.

Re: Would you date a girl/guy with a physical disability?
I don't think I'd have much problem, personality and interests are usually more important for me. A while back my friend dated a girl who'd lost part of her leg and it honestly didn't even come to mind very often. I've worked in a grocery store for years too, so I've seen all kinds and beyond some ...

Re: how old are the KS girls
Actually, animated pornography depicting underage girls is not legal in Canada, the US, or Sweden. As well as many other countries around the world. It's entirely legal in Japan though. Fortunately for the US that's unlikely to hold up when actually pressed. It's only recently that little part of ...

Re: Bad Ends
What about Shintoistic funeral? According to Wikipedia (I know, I know, great pick for a source) a lot of followers of Shinto choose to have Buddhist funerals. As was described to me at one point when I visited Japan, Shinto is for dealing with life and Buddhism deals more with death and what comes ...

Re: Have you played Hanako's Game? (Poll)
Well, the question is more if you've done it in the last two years lol. I think virtually everyone did in some form when they were younger but usually people stop as they get older. Though from the looks of this thread that may not be so true after all.

Re: Have you played Hanako's Game? (Poll)
Yep, I'll do it randomly just for amusement. As for what it says about anyone, I think it's usually just a bit of fun for people smart enough not to believe they're "too old" for something.

"You have to be a pretty lonely person to come up with a game like that. However, in a few moments, I notice myself trying to reach each correct tile (once again, something to that effect)" - Hisao with Hanako. strange, because i play that all the time when i was a kid, like 4-6 year old. ;_; 4-6 ...
