Re: Emi's New Sprites
Emi's old design looked like an out-of-place cardboard cutout, and I couldn't take any of her expressions or anything she said seriously even if the script called for it because she was just too ridiculous. The new design will actually allow her to have believable expressions and will result in a ...

Yeah I played Aeka's first and could not finish any other route after that.Duo2Cuo wrote: YMK has ALOT of sex and even more drama. Play Aeka last because it's the most dramatic and other routes seem tame in comparison. Keep your fapping hand taped to your chair to resist the urge.

Re: Similar games to Katawa Shoujo
Ever17, while not specifically a bishoujo game really, is a VN I cannot recommend enough. It makes such good use of the VN format for it's storytelling that the story could pretty much not possiby be told in any other way.

Re: Questions for "stereo"-hearing people
Do you find it strange, uncomfortable, or unnatural listening to monaural audio through stereo equipment? I personally don't like it. Stereo separation makes most things more relaxing to listen to. Most instruments are not panned completeley left or right though, as that actually stands out in a ...

Re: In regards to Shizune
I'm currently reading the A Song of Fire and Ice series by George RR Martin. I LOVE it! I'm about halfway through the second book and it's hard to put down. Oh also, I've read a fair share of VNs. Narcissu, Planetarian, F/SN and Tsukihime, Ever17, Yume Miru Kusuri, Saya no Uta and possibly other ...

Re: In regards to Shizune
If I may weigh in on the above discussion, I think it would be more akin to asking a "normal" person to change their entire physical appearance, down to their race, into another, and to also throw away any cultural heritage you may have had in the process of doing so. Its an identity that you have ...

Re: Commentary about each music track (as promised)
I'm no authority on this by any means, but if you want to honestly get started on remastering the soundtrack it seems like you should probably be contacting the dev team directly about officially joining it in that capacity. I don't know how long those negotiations would take (or if they even want ...

Re: I would like to see the music redone
If something in a track is jarring or draws attention to itself by being awkward it can be distracting, and should be changed to be not distracting . I'll offer my thoughts as a musician. The vast majority of the music is done quite well and sits perfectly fine in the game and really doesn't need to ...
