Re: Misha's disabillity?
If she had a brain problem i doubt she would be able to do the whole signing thing. I think her brain wouldn't be able to handle the whole thought process. I think it could be a form of tinnitus from hearing loss, kind've explains the whole loud thing and also the inner ear problems (balance) i ...

Re: Misha's disabillity?
Hanako's burns are similar: I'm not sure how many people would think of them as a disability, per se, but they must have required a great deal of medical care at first, and they still may require some. I had assumed that the burning was quite deep, and likely penetrated to some of her internal ...

Re: Kenji X Misha?? Is it possible???
(Personally I think all of you just want Misha added into the story so you can witness some hot, rough, and VERY LOUD action. I'm on to you...) Yes, please! =D --------------------- edit: ooops, hit submit to fast. As much as i dislike the union of kenji and Misha. A girl like misha would be just ...

Re: Hisao's Scars
Infection, depth of wound, type of wound, and treatment can all affect how a scar forms in the healing process. Instead of risking making another "wall of science" i'll just point to the wiki. It's written reasonably well, and most people should be able to understand it. Not all the details ...

Re: Misha's disabillity?
i may be wrong but, I don't remember reading somewhere that Misha is "dumb as a rock". I know people that are loud and hyper and do impressively well in school. She probably is around average (maybe a bit below) and could do better, but she's just too occupied with the student council, I guess. I ...

Re: question about Rin and Lilly
This has also crossed my mind as well and I also figured she'd use pads. Having a friend or nurse insert/remove tampons would be a hell of alot more awkward and those cup things Onisake mentioned would probably be worse. A pad, however, Rin might be able to remove herself and a new one would ...

Re: Misha's disabillity?
Man, I wish they would just release the game already so we can find out. It seems that these discussions always end up going around in circles :(. However, for my two bits I have to say isn't possible that Misha has a gastrointestinal problem or some simple(or complex) internal problem? I mean her ...

Re: Misha's disabillity?
HNNNGH! amidoinright!?DuaneMoody wrote:/a/ had a moment during a "what's her disability?" thread where someone translated a comment from 2ch as "I want to use Misha's tummy as my pillow" and /a/'s response was "I AM AS ONE WITH MY NIPPONESE BROTHERS"
that. sounds. amazing.

Re: question about Rin and Lilly
http://img32.imageshack.us/img32/6052/1243122183750.jpg That made my day. =D thanks. Well I meant that with just a plastic arm, Rin would have some way to deal with her period problem. I also tend to think they would use pads instead of tampons. But whatever, I'm complaining for the sake of ...

Re: Katawa Shoujo Act 1 Preview feedback thread
Finally I completed all paths. took me longer than i thought. Although i did get distracted by Mass Effect. And FFXI. And a few other things. anyway... I enjoyed the game. I've played a lot of doujin games and VNs and i'm impressed. It is very well done. Some of the character types are a little ...

Re: question about Rin and Lilly
Maybe you're right, though I still think arm prosthesis is decent enough to warrant addressing in the game. I mean, Emi could also be wheelchair bound or walking on her hands, but that wouldn't be very appealing. It almost seems as if Rin wasn't given plastic arms so they could write in the tampon ...

Re: Misha's disabillity?
Something along the line of an ear problem was my initial thought, as well. My biggest question was trying to find a disease that combined the main symptoms I noticed: Her lack of volume control, dizziness at the top of the stairs, and already knowing some sign language before coming to Yamaku ...

Re: question about Rin and Lilly
I'm sure it's been brought up before, but it seems a little unfair (if not somewhat inconsistent) that Rin doesn't have arm prosthesis though the technology on them is as good as leg ones. It's at least enough for someone to pick up a shirt or a paintbrush. If it's because Rin chooses not to use ...

Re: Misha's disabillity?
Ah! that's right. i remember something about her hair being wet or damp or something too. forgot about that. I never liked the cancer theory anyway. that'd be a totally lame. and the futa theory is equally lame. i mean really? Misha's a dude/futanari? lolwut. Then again, her laughter wouldn't be the ...

Re: Misha's disabillity?
Progressive hearing loss makes the most sense to me. But at the same time there are a few holes in that being the best explanation. Her being loud would mean she is only using the frequency in the air. the inner ear can also pick up vibrations through bone. The skull is pretty rigid, so the noise ...
