Curious as to the absence of Shizune's mother. She's never mentioned and never present. Is she off somewhere doing things, dead, or something else?

Well if there is one thing this poll has proven is that Rin is by far the most interesting character. I feel sorry for poor Emi... I like her second best but Rin is just so much more intriguing. I may go for Emi first just to save Rin for later though.

There's a reason why you'll see mechanical or magical augmentations to the human body in so many works of fiction. It's because the human body is limited in its maximum potential. Prostheses offer much more than bone and flesh ever can. Then again I don't intend to remove my legs for robot legs ...

I'm not entirely happy with my casting for Rin but I can't think of anyone better to play the role at this time.
