I played the fuck out of act 1 back when it was released, and I had my path completion order down, so I just went with choices that I knew led to the correct path.

I just went to some random custom shirt making site and screenshotted the logo when time passed in the game. Made the background transparent and slapped it on there.

I didn't bawl, but I did fine myself needing to wipe my eyes to continue reading since the screen was too blurred.

I personally find that Shizune's good end felt the most "real" of the good ends. Like if someone said one ending was canon and told me to guess which one it was, I'd say it was Shizune's. It felt the most likely to happen, like most realistic.

Not sure how to really explain it.

That's why I like "What if..." questions. Discussing different strains of possibilities.

Think of it as if Hisao never existed to the girls. Nothing would've changed. They'd all just continue and cope with whatever struggles they may or may not have had. Replay Lilly's or Emi's path if you need some proof. If this game never existed we'd all never know about and probably wouldn't care ...

I feel like comparing the different paths is like comparing apples to oranges to bananas. They're all delicious, but in their own ways.
