Re: Favourite Ending?
Best end was rooftop end, because it was hilarious and completely unintentional (ambiguous "save or die" choice). It was also the only actual end , in the sense that the story does not continue. Aside from that, Shizune end was cool, but my computer is shit, so I had to enjoy some lag alongside what ...

Re: About the game's erotica...
It's always a little sad when some content gets cut out from a work. Maybe it was because the content was crap, but even then it shows the thought process behind what went into making the final product. You know, like finding a pre-publication manuscript of a popular work, and then seeing some ...

Yes, it would have. "Raneniye" is more like "wounded."darrin wrote:IMO "devushki kaleki" would be better (has the "cripple" connotation that "katawa" is alleged to have).

Re: Can the staff get anything out of this?
It would be interesting for those involved to spin this project in such a way that emphasizes the teamwork and global distribution aspect. That's probably the extend of "anything" writers/editors can get. Artists can include art/music in a sample portfolio, if they thought it was good compared to ...

Re: Hanako's no-scars ending?
In terms of canon, devs/writers should check the wikipedia page, it says Rin's arms were amputated due to a birth defect, which is wrong IMO... I cannot recall any inherited defects that warrant amputation, mostly injury and infection/gangrene, but not defects. They don't have to be inherited ...

Re: Katawa shoujo featured on Kotaku.
I'm going to claim without providing proof that there are very many people anticipating the final release of KS who have never played a VN and thus have no standard to judge KS by other than what they usually judge a game/book by. I've heard it compared to F/SN but most people don't even know what ...

Re: Do you have any freinds that are phsically disabled?
I know a girl who is missing half of her left arm from a birth defect.
I don't really know her well, but she would probably react negatively because she's 13 (although she might identify with Rin).

Re: Katawa shoujo featured on Kotaku.
4chan makes for a better story than 4 Leaf Studios, because it's a something people recognize and, in general, don't feel neutral about. The start of the article talks about Nurse-Kin (and links to Shii's wiki) which was, undoubtedly, a /b/ thing. Then it goes on to talk about how, despite the ...

This was at the totally awesome 4chan panel at Anime Evolution in Vancouver, BC. And by awesome I mean nobody had anything ready at all and it got canceled and put back on.

I think this is common if you've played platformers in your early life.kobe wrote:damn...you guys reminded me of this stuff...Guest wrote: As for the whole "guy running along side the car thing" I always use to imagine it was Mario.
I used to imagine it was sonic, just because he's so damn fast.

Yes, and during car rides I imagined there was a little guy running alongside the car, jumping on the other cars, orange barrels, and the like. (He was a pretty cool guy.)
