Re: Golden Room
Sorry to leave everyone hanging for over a decade. Life's been hard and I've long since lost the ability to finish this story, let alone the will. Last time I did any work on it was back in 2012. I'm posting these mostly for my own closure, but also in the hope someone may get some enjoyment from ...

There's a reason this is my favorite line from Act 1.[T]hat boy is interesting. Maybe I am like that boy, or maybe you are. Maybe everyone is. Doing things you can’t do, just because you can.

Re: Favourite Ending?
Rin's ending is my favorite, followed closely by Lilly's and then Hanako's. I tend to prefer quiet, subtle intimacies. So, ranking my favorites in order: (This, after several playthroughs and some attempts at writing fanfiction.)
End: Rin > Lilly > Hanako > Shizune > Emi
Girl: Rin > Emi > Shizune ...
End: Rin > Lilly > Hanako > Shizune > Emi

Re: What exactly are we making here?
A game is an exercise of choice under scarcity with an aim or goal in mind, in which all choices are not of equal utility.
In valderman's example he created artificial scarcity by imposing a rule (the time limit), but a novel imposes no scarcity on its own. It is simply a source of information. So ...

Love Ramachandran! Allow me to throw a bit of fuel on the fires of speculation you've kindled.

Who would've thought that writing a girl who swears randomly would be so hard?!
Dude, there's a lot more to Tourette's than the swearing thing. Ticks can be just about anything imaginable, from screaming to punching yourself in the face. Here's a resource you might find helpful: How to have ...

Or they could never say a word about why Misha attends the school and just let everyone hang in the wind...
Depends on how badly they want us to shut up about it and whether the information is at all relevant to any of the other girls' stories. Besides, if she doesn't have one there'd be ...

Re: Misha's disabillity?
Maybe it's just that Misha's parents are deaf and sent her to Yamaku because that's where they went and/or they want her to have strong ties with the deaf community? It would explain her knowing sign language and having volume control issues (growing up with the deaf, she was never told to be quiet ...

Re: If you *actually have* a physical disability, what is it?
I'm nearsighted and getting steadily worse at a noticeable rate, but it's fully correctable for now (no vote). Two years ago I could read ten point font on a computer screen at two feet without correction, now I need to be less than eight inches away. *shrug* I hardly notice my glasses anymore ...

But, if I'm not mistaken, I heard somewhere that they consider just making the game to be a reward in itself? (don't quote me on that) It really reminds me of my reviews that I do in my Facebook notes. I have anywhere from one to three people read each review, but I just enjoy writing them, but I ...

Speaking to the Theme
Act 1's theme anyway. A new* TED talk by Aimee Mullins was posted to their site this morning, in which she addresses kyriarchy and the medical establishment about the word disability and what its use means in or for an individual's prognosis. Cross-posting it for the community to enjoy:

Re: Act1 Walkthrough, 100% & Individual paths, Flowchart
@Sleet, the choice you were missing was at Lunch Evolution Theory (#6 on the path you followed). You needed to choose "Wait for Shizune and Misha" there instead of "Read." You also needed to choose "I've done my part" at Cold War.

I like the changes, personally. She seems more lively and energetic on top of looking more mature. I think it's the brighter hue in her eyes, fuller face and the wider, slightly more random, spread to her hair. Her pigtails especially give a sense of being constantly in motion, like she's just ...
