Re: Really really REALLY dumb questions
These are the same kinds of stupid questions I've peppered my fiancee with over the years, so let me see if I can remember any good ones. These are just things I've learned that I find interesting. I'll exclude bodily functions on the general principle that you can't unlearn things. They're still ...

Re: 64 Bit Vista compatabilty?
It worked fine on 64-bit Vista for me, too. Definitely check your video drivers and be sure all of your display software is the 64-bit version.

Re: Any possibility for a Misha path?
Misha will be tragically killed in a hot tub accident, so alas there is no path for her.

Re: Widescreen monitor support?
Running it at 1920 x 1080 in windowed mode worked pretty well for me. It took up most of the screen vertically, so the size was just fine.

Re: Disabled Developers / Players?
It's been great hearing about other people who had the same reaction to this game as I did. Honestly, my fiancee was the first disabled person I spent any significant time around, so I intentionally took her on a first date where we would be sitting the whole time and I wouldn't even notice. She ...

Re: Other great VN ideas?
I know it's not much of a suggestion, but I really loved Yume Miru Kusuri, which is similar to to Kotawa Shoujo, in that the girls are not representations of fetishes, but each girl has a unique problem. Maybe there could be an expansion of YMK with each girl having a different psychological ...

Disabled Developers / Players?
I'm curious about the level of involvement of disabled people in the development of this game. Judging by the way the characters are written, I wouldn't be surprised to find a few on the dev team, or at least people who have disabled family members. If neither is the case, then I really have to tip ...

Re: Misha+Shizune+Hisao Action?
There does seem to be effort to keep pretty much everything from the original concept page going, so you probably would get to the point of having a sign language class (or several), and then being able to communicate with Shizune directly; that might be necessary to get her h-scenes. And it's also ...

Re: Katawa Shoujo Act 1 Preview feedback thread
Not only is it rare to have disabled characters in any form of entertainment, but having them treated so humanely (in the literal sense) is wonderful. Far too often such characters are either made of glass or are treated as unspeakably heroic just for living. My fiancee is in a wheelchair, and the ...

I saw a thread in hongfire. The game was so touching that I actually tracked this forum down!
