I don't like descriptive details same reason I don't like narration, I prefer when a show (or for this matter a visual novel) shows you what the character is like, rather than tells you. I mean do you need a blurb telling you Hanako is shy or Lilly is elegant? Wouldn't you prefer to see that ...

Lilly never sees how fast palm meets my face at her sly accusation. A sentence full of win. I liked what Lilly said to get that reaction, the 'Akira is taken. Sorry, Hisao'. It was completely unexpected and made me smile, it almost seemed like a sly jab at lecherous guys (with Hisao as the example).
