It's funny since this morning I checked the blog and didn't see any updates. Then I saw the tweet on my break at work. Glad I was alone in the break room since having to explain the noises I made would've been weird...

I know back on page 1 I said I'd be cosplaying as Shizune...well, that obviously didn't happen. I got everything but the shirt done, which turned into a major failure combined with my mom and I getting sick and not being able to properly work on it before the con.

Next time I swear *fistshake*

OMGcon is an awesome name, and if I wasn't graduating that weekend, I'd look into it XD

Well, most of the other VNs on the site are in the games section (Kana -Imouto-, Air, Kanon, and Ever17 are the ones I remember)

And yeah, the fics are filtered out, not the categories. The list of categories looks the same between all the sections, it just depends on what type of thing the media ...

I'm going to AX and Otakon as Shizune I've got other cosplays though, so I'm not sure what days I'm going to wear each one on. Depends on the photoshoots and times and such.

I really liked Shizune's chapter, maybe because it stretched further back into her childhood, or maybe because I felt there was more...feeling to it. I felt sorry for her throughout the whole thing. Very well done, in my opinion.

Update: Ugh, I may not be able to go to Otakon, and I'm def. not doing it with my Shizune. ;__; Sigh, family plannings and stuff. Regardless if I make it to Otakon or not I'm still doing this cosplay! (Possibly for PAX?) So yes, >3 still expect pictures.

I don't think I explained this to my mom yet, since she'll be helping me with the sewing (I break sewing machines when I touch them...). I just call it "the schoolgirl outfit" since she can't remember character names.

it was put in the anme/manga section as Zack from fanfiction.net support didn't think it was a game, he quoted "The way I see it, it is like an Anime slide show with occasional choices" I wasn't going to argue with him so i told him to put it in a category he thinks is best

I think most VN skip modes work by just flashing through the text...

Do you think you could supply the pattern for that? It'd be a big help for people who are new to sewing.

I'll see if I can get the pattern number from my mom -- she's the one with the pattern, and I won't be seeing her until June.

I might end up actually pulling off a Shizune for Otakon now, since the outfit's easy. I already have the pattern for that style shirt and a skirt from earlier cosplays. It all depends on when my main costume get done, but considering I have a week free between Anime Expo and Otakon...
