I feel its not a bad idea to play it safe. Some people can be turned off reading by outlandish scenarios, and some can be turned off by reading normal "plain" scenarios. Your current story is heading in a way that strikes a middle path, providing something different from the normal fiction written ...

Interesting anecdote with Lilly's earlier experiences with alcohol. Definitely would not be one of her "ladylike" moments.

One small issue, you mentioned Shizune being able to track the two of them from the noise they were making doesn't fully make sense in my mind, since she is deaf. Might just have been my brain failing to understand the sentence.

I've found the short stories quite enjoyable to read, even if they don't fit the same character perceptions people have. It's nice to have some unique spins on well trodden character archetypes. My only issue is that while each story is meant to be a one-shot, the later ones focusing on Miki/Hiaso ...

Umm..... that was weird. And creepy. If this was meant to be horror, it succeeded rather well.

I doubt many people will be completely happy about me bringing this back from the dead (necro posting), but WOW. Wow. I had a few hours spare and had this sitting in my pile of "to read" fan fictions. So I sat down and read it. And was promptly blown away. You kept me on the edge of my seat ...

I would have to say Wiosna. It reminds me of the VN in its entirety. It's the first song you hear. It brings to mind a relaxing spring afternoon reading a book.
