While reading this beautiful story it occurred to me that After the Dream is a fractal rather than a mosaic: wherever you look there's more and more intricate, surprising detail to be found.

untranslated words tend to be woefully insufficient when conveying tone and atmosphere. I had never come across this opinion before participating in this fandom and it makes no sense to me at all.
