Re: Let's Dub Katawa Shoujo!

I checked this out a while back and remember this Misha being better than Katawa Seiyu's Misha, but that doesn't really mean much. The Hisao was really, really good. I don't remember what I thought about anyone else and I don't have time to listen again right now - be warned that I'm going to be ext...

Re: The Official KS Headcanon Thread

I would assume that there'd be an "open door" policy. If the door is open, come on in. If the door is closed, leave me be.

Re: The Official KS Headcanon Thread

Even after Hanako and Hisao move into together, Hanako will still insist on having a separate bedroom. That's pretty interesting, and I think fitting as well. Not that I'm a Hanabro or anything. Speaking of Hanako though, my own headcanon for her is that she's amazing at chess. It's simply her anxi...

Re: Favourite artworks - reprise.

Emi, Shizune, and Hanako have the best ones, in that order. Lilly's are far too large and I feel as if Rin's would be droopy. I'm thoroughly confused by this statement. Emi has the smallest, and Shizune has (arguably) the largest, yet they're your two favorites? Hanako is rather well-filled in that...

Re: what are the best quotes from the game?

I had thought the same thing when I went through Lilly's route. I immediately found myself thinking "Yeah, many times." and then Hisao goes on as if the only possible answer was no.

Maybe the analogy is just a little off, the point came across just fine

Re: Favourite artworks - reprise.

Are you guys saying you would throw a girl out of bed because her breasts were too big? No, no, I think the thing is that they'd be less likely to get into bed with a girl whose breasts were too big :P Personally I think a solid D is the largest respectable size. My preference is C cup though. Shiz...

Re: Adaptive technology

I have no idea where or how you people are doing your research. searching for "voice off" returned plenty of relevant results. Most dictionaries I could find noted that "Deaf-mute" is either archaic or offensive, and that "mute" is a discrete condition, characterized b...

Re: Ask!

I was wondering how much background information was decided/discussed for background characters like Mutou or Nurse.

Specifically, is Mutou married/does he have kids?

How old is Nurse?

Re: Adaptive technology

Should we care? There's not really any obligation, but it's the polite thing to do. For me personally, it's a matter of reason and logic. If I could see some reason why mute was offensive, I wouldn't use it. I've never know mute to be used derogatorily, and as far as I know it's never had any negat...

Re: Anyone else hate Misha?

we should be saying "there's nothing wrong with being in Group A, so why would Term X be insulting?". ... Every person in the world is described using a plethora of terms all the time, none of which they themselves chose. I never chose the term "brown-haired"; so do I get to for...

Re: Anyone else hate Misha?

That's all your opinion, which you are entitled to have. You're implying that the Deaf community is being illogical or unreasonable in being offended, and in the face of reasoned explanations. In reference specifically to where Mirage says that "Mute" is a clinical term, that is not his o...

Re: Act I with random choices - Probabilities

Holy balls. More than a 50% chance of manly picnic. Makes me wonder how I didn't get it my first time. I find it a little odd that the Lilly/Hanako percentages are so low, but it does make a certain kind of sense. I had to try twice for Lilly, but got everyone else on the first try. Of course, once ...
