I'd definetly recommend Grisaia no Kajitsu. Beware it has terrible sex scenes compared to that of Katawa Shoujo so I ended up spamming my space button to get past them, and the main character is sometimes a real ass, that said.. And - - that's exactly what happened, finished Shitzune yesterday.

I think it probably depends on the individual.

I was very deeply affected by my first time through so it took me around 2 weeks before I felt strong ...

I haven't donated anything specifically after playing Katawa Shoujo, I do however donate regularly anyway - since long before I played/read it.
