Re: Hanako's Broken Heart Club
Are you sure you're in love with her or are you in love with the ideal of her and what she represents? This is a good question. I don't think I'm in love with her anymore. I still care about her, but not as much as I used to. I'd like to give it another shot, but as I said, I'm not gonna be super w...

Re: Hanako's Broken Heart Club
I'm a moron. I am a moron. I AM A FUCKING MORON. Well, some of you may remember my...kinda psychotic ex. The one who got kinda suicidal, scared me off, faked a suicide attempt and brain cancer, and has been in and out of my life for the past two years. She's back. I want her back. But I don't. I don...

Yeah, makes sense. Especially education-wise. I'm really glad Obama passed that bill that forgives federal student debts after 15 years. It's....not so much, but it's a start, definitely.bhtooefr wrote:Growing income inequality, declining educational standards, increasing homelessness.

Alright, I'm just gonna ask: In what way is the US de-developing? Is it our economy, because yeah that's gotten a bit worse. I mean, I just...don't really know. Like, yeah, it's certainly not the best place in the world, but it's far from terrible.bhtooefr wrote:Words, words words

Re: Fanfic inspirations.
Inspiration is my worst enemy. I've written before, I'm writing a story of short little bursts right now, and I have an OC, but...well, I'm just gonna be honest, he's a wee bit of a Gary Stu. Absurd family situation, near-flawless English speaker, thankfully no grimdark past, not a Hollywood disabil...

Finally the female lead of the story gets some spotlight. I like what I see so far, but Hisao could be a little less slow on the uptake: Why would one wear tinted contact lenses... The only thing I can imagine would be albinism , but the other symptoms of that would likely be much, much more telling.

Re: Learning the blues. Act 2 Complete
Love the title choice. You a RWBY fan as well?
As for the chapter....wow. Melancholic, bittersweet, and just a ride from start to finish. Geez. That fuckin hurts.

Re: You have been playing too much KS when...
Oh, it started subconsciously when I was first coming up with the idea. Then I was just like, "Waaaaaiiiitaminute!" And thus the full-fledged super-depressing story began to grow in my mind.Solistor wrote: But that would be an intentional reference rather than a subconscious one.

MASTER OF FUCKING ROMANCE, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!
Good chapter. Just realized what it was halfway through. When Akio mentioned how bad of a mes it'd be if the Minakio fusion tripped.
Still, must be majorly bad if the whole school is as worried about her situation as they seem.

Re: You have been playing too much KS when...
Not exactly OT, but related. You've been reading too much KS fanfiction when you begin to subconsciously reference it while writing. Fuck that, I'm creating an entire story based around a dude who learns he has SCA and begins writing a diary. It starts on Day Two Thousand, Three Hundred and Seventy...

Re: Random KS Discussion
As for myself, if something doesn't kill me first, I'm pretty certain I know how, if not when. Everyone on both sides of my family as far back as we can trace has been susceptible to and suffered from mental disorders as they got older. Dementia, Alzheimers, etc. And most of them had cancer contrib...
