I've really been enjoying this story. Its a lot more complex a response than many of the Hanako bad-ending stories. I'm looking forward to the rest of the story.

Hisao only needs to end up with Emi if the author wants a certain kind of neat-and-everything-all-wrapped-up ending. Life doesn't work that way and Emi could easily serve as the lesson to the others about what happens when you refuse to deal with your problems.

I wouldn't be surprised if Shizune through whatever means already knows about Hanako. If she did then she could still be keeping him around to piss off Jigoro or she doesn't want him but is staying with him to make him torment himself or she will use it against him in the future.

I think the idea of an Iwanako "route" is brilliant. Of course it would require something to change in the original story. damn, that means Hisao is going to experience 2 bad ends. Lilly's, and Hanako's. Would be an interesting take on it though
