Re: You have been playing too much KS when...

Reason why I said Rin was Raiden is because Raiden lost both of his arms near the end of MGS4. (Remember?) And I can't say Rin is Vamp, not really a fit at all. Also, maybe Johnny could enroll at Yamaku for that disability, heh. As long as it isn't a mental disability, I'm sure it's fine. It'd be to...

Re: What scene made you "cry" the most

You know a VN is good if it can at least make your eyes stream tears. Funny thing about me, I didn't cry during the scene of Rin's Good Ending, but it was afterwards tears started streaming. I'm weird. Only VN(s) that really made me cry were Clannad and Kanon. That also makes you admire this VN even...

Re: Preconceptions about the routes

Balancing out the girls would lead you Rin. (Either balancing them by showing no interest in them, or balanced interest) And you get Kenji when you show no interest to none of them, or plain mess up your chances with all of them. And I actually didn't think Hisao would fall off the roof. I thought h...

Re: Preconceptions about the routes

That's the thing about KS, some routes don't directly go into romance, but rather, it hints at a romance that may bloom in the future. Like Hanako, her good ending, it's just a recently formed romance that became evident at the very end. Rin's arc is a weird one, obviously. From my perspective, ther...

Re: I just completed the game...

Well you have to realize for a game that's made for free, this is really well made. Yes I can agree with giving the game a little more praise. The stories do have their own uniqueness, and the choices for the most part are fairly intuitive, though you may have to think a little bit more about the de...

Re: Preconceptions about the routes

In all honestly, I think most people would have guessed Hanako's story correctly. Rin's story is just, unpredictable. Emi's is a little more obvious, I know it had something to do with her legs. Lilly's problems I honestly thought had to do with her family (especially after finding out Lilly and Shi...

Re: You have been playing too much KS when...

You know you've been playing too much KS if you notice one of Emi's chapters is called the "Phantom Pain" and you suddenly think of Metal Gear Solid V. Then you imagine Emi as Big Boss. Emi: raven Lilly: octopus Hanako: wolf shizune: Mantis Kenji ocelot Misha. RAY I assume you're talking ...

Re: Concerning "Slow Recovery"

Well in other parts of Act 1, where you may have lunch with Rin/Emi, The reason why nothing bad happens after that is because you have a chance with another girl (i.e. Hanako, Lilly, Rin) So when you were invited and had lunch, you actually go because you want to, and you could have went and been by...

Re: Which ending is most likely for you?

As you said, being around Rin requires a LOT of patience... Not so. Understanding Rin requires patience. Deciphering Rin requires patience. To quote something my father told me while watching an improv comedy show (Whose Line Is It Anyway?, the current series), "The key [to improv] is to alway...

Re: Where to go from here?

All of the characters have complexities that are only developed fully if you follow their paths. When I first approached "Katawa Shoujo," there were characters that I didn't connect with and didn't particularly like. In my case, they were Misha and Shizune. They reminded me too much of an...

Re: Which ending is most likely for you?

Well thought out. Honestly, I don't think I could befriend Kenji. I would try my best to avoid him, but everyone knows there's no escaping Kenji.

Re: What scene made you "cry" the most

Neutral Ending seems like Rin is making an excuse to run away. Or, she's misinterpreting what Hisao said. Rin had made up her mind, and there's just no changing it from there. It's also a much sadder ending. Whilst Bad Ending seems more like a bad argument. It seems like there's absolutely no coming...

Re: Concerning "Slow Recovery"

If you had good terms with Shizune ("I don't want to talk about it.") You're not ignoring Shizune, which gives you the option to have lunch with either of them, forking their paths. Speaking sarcastically would leave you with no one to really talk to at the festival, because you simply wen...

Re: What scene made you "cry" the most

Ok, so I went through the bad ending. Honestly, I find her neutral ending worse than her bad ending. It seems like you break up on worse terms in the neutral ending then bad ending. Plus, it's just plain sadder. In other words, Bad Ending is better then the Neutral Ending. (To me at least.)
