Re: Thoughts on the game
Now that you've blasted through it once, I suggesting giving it a bit of a rest and then going through KS a second time, more slowly. There is a lot of stuff in the paths that takes on a different meaning once you know the full story. There are also a lot of details that are easy to miss the first t...

Re: Random KS Discussion
About not doing the bad ends: Remember, KS is a story told in a non-linear manner. The bad and neutral ends are just as much a part of that story as the good ends. If the devs had a written novel to work with they could tell the whole thing in a linear manner showing all of the aspects of the charac...

Re: About Shizune and ... Misha
My interpretation is that Misha never actually wanted to commit suicide. Rather, she was being manipulative in order to get sympathy from Hisao. No, I can't point to any clear proof. I will point out that it well-established that Misha is willing to be duplicitous in order to elicit emotional respon...

Re: Ask!
I've got a question about doing KS. It took 5 years, and I'm guessing that there were times when individually or as a group the devs felt like just hanging it up and doing something else.
Were there times like that? What kept you going?

Re: Why have so many people taken Hanako's route first?
I got Emi's route first and Hanako's second. Emi's first because when I got to the track choice I thought "pushing your heart here is about the stupidest decision in the world. I wonder what happens if I take it? Probably a quick dead end." :D I got Hanako's route second because I was play...

If I remember correctly, Emi x Misha is fanfic, but the fanfic was written by TheHiveMind, so I'd upgrade this to 'Apocrypha'.

Re: Journey of a Non-otaku
Today's the last day of my exams. Got Algebra in a couple of hours and then I'm done. With that off my conscience, I'll start on Lilly's route. I'm excited for it, because I wasn't really satisfied with Shizune's route, and Rin's route only really felt satisfying at the end. Lilly's route is great ...

About Hanako's H-scene: she explains it in the good end. She wanted Hisao to take her, because her self-esteem was so low that she thought that was the only way she could give something to Hisao. Yes, Hanako wanted that to happen, but not for good reasons. And I'm using the phrasing "take her&q...

Re: Side characters
The sun is barely over the horizon. Two men stand apart from each other on a deserted country road. There is no one else in sight. One way or another, their hatred of each other dies here and now. One man nods; the second does likewise; and then Hisao and Akio run as fast as they can towards each ot...

In all of the routes Hisao is pretty badly depressed, and kind of a lump most of the time. Emi's route is I think the least depressed Hisao gets. Get ready to want to shake Hisao repeatedly

Re: What if Hanako became a swimsuit model?
I've been thinking about this is a turned-around light: "What would it take for Hanako to become a swimsuit model?" First thought: is there a community in Japan that would find her burns attractive? I went rattling around Japanese Punk pictures ... and those are the cleanest-cut punks I've...
