I've actually heard of stress and grief-based heart attacks before -- it's called stress cardiomyopathy or takotsubo cardiomyopathy. Acute stress/grief triggers the attack, and its (usually) not fatal. (Mom dealt with this a while ago.)

When Hisao Was Rin is definately on my personal list of headcanon. It is a very nice distillation of what I envision a post-good end Hisao and Rin relationship to be, right down to the innocent (and not-so-innocent) bystanders caught in the cross-talk.

I'm having a hard time reading this particular arc, knowing what awaits our happy couple. But, I still do so. A testament to the writing, perhaps?
