Re: Anyone feeling nostalgic?
Hello Everyone, This is my first post. I have to say I am most certainly feeling nostalgic. I had a dream a few nights ago about a woman I loved many years ago. I couldn't really explain what suddenly made her pop up in my thoughts but it really affected me. I haven't been able to stop thinking ...

Re: Anyone feeling nostalgic?
I don't think there was a time I remembered about KS and didn't feel nostalgic. XD It's very dear to me and I don't see that ever changing. I found it during a specific time period in which I was very vulnerable, emotional, and aching; and it's helped me through it. It gave me so much strength and ...

Re: Forums updated but not going anywhere
Definitely got scared for a moment :') I think many of us retain a precious corner of our hearts for this place, virtual as it may be. Thanks, Crud, and anyone else who has a part in keeping the forums alive.

Re: Any merchandise?
If you count those then the various artbooks must be mentioned as well! I love the few I own; they're beautiful.Mythic wrote:The closest thing to merchandise would be the physical copies of KS sold at Comiket a while ago.
As for tablet-case type of merch, as stated before, there's nothing official.

Re: Why are you still here and enjoying KS after all this ti
I remember it every once in a while. Music (as in the KS OST) is often (though not always) the trigger, and I just have to check on this community or run through the soundtrack or remember scenes from the VN or whatnot. KS has a special place in my heart and that is a thing that is unlikely to ever ...

Re: Anyone feeling nostalgic?
Was this place more active a few years back from now? Yes, it certainly was :) New people would show up nearly every day ( literally ) to comment in the "thank you 4LS" or the "feels bazaar" threads just to add their own wall of text detailing how much this VN touched them, and each such wall of ...

Re: Which song moved you the most?
Breathlessly breaks my heart and makes me cry, and Aria de l'Etoile is like a drug that makes me feel so damn happy and, well, cry as well. So those two, probably. But also many others. Wiosna is so symbolic, it's like the theme of all those private KS-reading moments; and so is Passing of Time to a ...

Re: Preview of Koe no Katachi movie (deaf girl MC)
Been looking forward to this ever since it was announced!
I was hoping to see it animated ever since the final chapter was released. The truth is I think it could make for an awesome anime series, but a movie would also be awesome if done right, I suppose!

Re: Anyone feeling nostalgic?
Haha, yeah... certainly happens every once in a while XD Allow me to describe the situation that, after I thought about it in hindsight, prompted me to feel nostalgic and thus also enter the forum: In my country, after we finish school, we have to do 3 years in army. Being a (relatively) healthy ...

This is from Shirakawa-go, a small, world heritage town in Gifu prefecture in Japan. http://shirakawa-go.org/english/ It's more famous for being the setting for Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni http://cplcrud.deviantart.com/gallery/10042427/Hinamizawa-Tour I think there are a couple of other photos from ...

Re: Koe no Katachi: A manga about a deaf girl in public scho
Yeah, there were a few places that I felt the story could have ended that would work better than that. Honestly, I felt the real climax of the story was when he almost killed himself trying to prevent her suicide. Yup; an ending based more around that scenario is one example of a potentially far ...

Re: Koe no Katachi: A manga about a deaf girl in public scho
I just noticed this was made into an ongoing series. Although I found the ending to be quite underwhelming (an understatement, truly, but there have been fans with opinions not as harsh as mine), I do recommend this manga from the bottom of my heart and without a second thought. Been following it ...

Re: The "feels" bazaar.
That feeling of longing when I finish a route; that feeling of just wanting... wanting more, just wanting to go right back in there, to see her again, to feel it again... it's unparalleled and unmatched in volume by anything that any piece of work had ever managed to awaken within me. It's been a ...

Re: Katawa Shoujo at Comiket 88
Heads up, Weee's put the Comiket 88 artbook up on the Medicalwhiskey online store. http://medicalwhiskey.com/store/ProductDetails.php?product=78 WOAH. Inb4 the MedicalWhiskey envelope somehow suggests NSFW content and my mom picks up the mail that day. Gonna have to play that one carefully. XD ...
