100% humidity
GET OUTTA MY POOL YOU SCHWAG!

Was running once at 95 degrees. Would be rather okay, if not those pesky pests, insects and flies driving into my goddamn eyes, mouth and nostrils. Fuck them.

Tried to run listening to Animals as Leaders. Don't do that. Just don't. Running music is as ...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

We did 30km today! A mixture of trails, roads, paths and a little bit of offroading. I hate the handgrips on the handlebars, they are roughly textured which is hard on the hands, but apart from that, the bike is cool.

That combined with the 12km we walked on Friday means I am just about ready to ...

I've found J-pop useful, too, oddly enough.
This. As much as I dislike the genre, rhythm is mostly basic enough to run without problems. The aural satisfaction is entirely different thing.

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

(And it depends on the song, Warbots A.M. does have tempo changes but they're very easy to deal with, and Repangaea is over 12 minutes of constant tempo so that's a great one :D) I guess it does. I only listened to two of their albums (Xenosapien and Exploiting Dysfunction) both can be described as ...

There's a proverb "A wolf is fed by his legs" which means that you gotta run a lot if you want to succeed. That's a bad shoop, but nevertheless.

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

I think, as long as it isn't stupidly complex in how it's composed or as long as you can use it as a way to keep your mind busy, it's no problem - I've gone running to Shostakovich one day, and then to Cephalic Carnage for the next one :P
Well, the main thing I've learned from making my playlists ...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Trust me mate, it will be hard for a while... but you look back on the Week One rota and you will realise how piss easy it looks.
True story. It was ridiculous in the beginning (I got so tired that I even took a day off), but now it just doesn't look serious. I stopped running in september '13 ...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

And by the way, I love your profile pic... now I have a mental image of that version of Misha wearing one of those stereotypical Russian hats and running in the snow, and it is fantastic.

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

I started Couch to 5k today now, yes!
Today was as hot as +10°C in the morning, and that's really not that bad. I guess by making it this cold Mother Nature wants Sister Russia to receive some kind of subliminal message (like "Stay away from Ukraine you fucktards!").
I went outside wearing a sports ...

That would be the closest moment I had to KS in my life - less than 850 km.
I guess I won't wash my antennae for a week or two after the event, to keep the afterglow.

In other words, he would be very, very lucky if he managed to crack it in any reasonable amount of time on a consumer-level machine, and should consider playing the lottery. Not that it isn't possible, but the odds are ever not in his favor.
That is relatively close to my point. I was aiming on ...
