Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Small update from me, still doing my 7-ish km at 10km/h every other day. Smooth going. Can't really go much longer for lack of time, but either way, it's a nice little bit of balance to the office job. I live by a river, so it's about 3 minutes away from a nice running trail. I can choose between a ...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Been keeping to my routine of running about 45 min every other day, slowing increasing the distance I travel in that time. At the moment I'm at 8km or so. Give or take a few steps. The other day I aparatently busted a blood vessel in my foot pretty early on (musta hit a rock or something) and by the ...

In case of heart pain during running: Consult nearest doctor. :O Or have Emi carry you to the nurse.

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Took another shot at the same run today. Decreased the first 5-min stretch to a 4-min one, but otherwise passed with flying colors. I find it hard to believe that a 1-minute difference could have such an impact! Odds are it does not. Sometimes you'll hit a bad day or a good day. Sometimes you might ...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Keeping up my regimen as well. So far I'm managing to maintain the 7km every other day. Not always easy, RL is somewhat busy. At certain days all I manage is work, eat, run, sleep. Might need new shoes, too. Knees acting up a bit, which is definetly not normal. But I guess the pain is just weakness ...

Re: How'd you find yourself here?

You remember which video? I wouldn't mind seeing that. I didn't remember, but I ran across it again by accident. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JNmBr_jd3N8 I notice this weird trend how most of the things I find that are good are by accident. Come to think of it, the job I got was also mostly by ...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Yes, well I don't stop you from doing it. If it feels okay, and you say it does, then you certainly shouldn't stop! :D I keep trying to find a situation where this would be inappropriate adivce. No success so far. :D Didn't take it like you were trying to stop me anyway, but I had similar concerns ...

Some people I'd like to see audition for Kenji:

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

While I congratulate you on your amazing progress (it really is!), isn't this destroying you? When I was sick for just a week, and couldn't run, I had to take 2 km of my run to keep the same pace as I normally do, and build it up in 2 weeks. If I had forced it, my body would become very, very tired ...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

2nd week of running after an extended break for me. KS gave me that final little nudge I needed to get going again. Although it's been quite some time for me, I've managed to pick up my routine of running every other day without too much effort. I started out slow, going only 3km at a pace of 10km ...

Re: I finished Katawa Shoujo and can't get my friends to pla

I actually had this problem with myself when I first heard of KS. But then I stopped to consider that the guy I heard recommend this game has a solid moral compass and I usually agree with him if he says a movie/book/game/anything is good or bad. Maybe you can make a similar case to your friends. Of ...

Re: The meaning of Katawa Shoujo.

I recently asked something similar in the Ask! Thread. Here's Aura's answer, copied and pasted: Question: Reflecting on the impact this game has had on me, I've been wondering how much of it was intentional. It seems fairly obvious that one of the main things you can take away from this is to stop ...

Re: Buncha random questions

1. Is it just me or did/does anyone find Katawa shoujo more interesting than 90% of all other games I've played/owned (especially weird considering i've never played any other games of this kind). Same here. I'm still trying to figure out why exactly this is. My best guess is that it's a lot of ...

Re: Ask!

Thank you for your replies, Aura. I've been (slowly) working my way through this thread as a whole and it's very interesting to read. It's rare that you get that much information out of the people making a game and the time you guys take to answer questions is definetly appreciated. No. We didn't ...
