Re: Learning To Fly - A Saki pseudo-route (Updated 8/9)
Chisato  That was a last minute decision. I had Star Trek TNG episodes playing in the background for some of the time I was writing this, and I remembered how it always cracked me up whenever Riker did something similar almost every time he sat down. It was something so small and simple but ...

Re: Alt Dreams [One-Shots] (20—'Fighting Words') (20150407)
To me, the ⌀ symbol (usually superscript but not always) means "half-diminished", also known as "m7(♭5)". The ° symbol (always superscript) means "diminished", and in the context of jazz/pop harmony, this always includes the diminished seventh (while in classical repertoire this cannot be assumed au ...

Oh god, I thought I had forgotten all about that place.
(Depending on which era/server of SS13, there are plenty of chocolate jokes to go around, too. Ugh.)

I kept looking for the phrase 'skinny fists' or anything to link it to Godspeed You Black Emperor with sporadically placed exclamation mark, but I like the visual of your idea better.ProfAllister wrote: I was expecting the title to be a reference to a snow angel with a funny-looking head because of Misha's drills...

Going back through again, as another string of edits might suggest. It's even more amusing to find the seeds of obvious design, now. Successfully composing music, Name That Tune, the buffalo bread, the marathoning line all in the first part of the first act. An entire Chekov's Arsenal, if you will.

Re: Sakura—The Kenji Saga (Part 1-3a up 20140701)
Strangely, I did once pose the internal question of Kenji's sincerity. It all started when the seed was planted from, 'even a trope-constructed caricature couldn't turn out like this,' and grew into, 'what if this 'madness' is a facade?' (I'm too lazy to cedilla.) Admittedly, this passing fancy ...
