Heh. Guess since I just got around to finishing this I should come around to posting my thoughts on this monolith of a fanfic. The original version of this story was the first fic I read on these forums after finishing all the routes in the game, and was something I enjoyed very much. Funny enough ...

There was a great fire on the high seas that day, as the Hanako X Hisao ship finally sank. Damn. I had pulling through till the end for that, but alas, a more objective look on the story says that this is probably the better course of action. Can't wait to see how you tie off the Hanako thread now ...

On the other hand, if Hisao ends up with Emi, Lilly and Hanako can build upon the fact that they both "lost" Hisao and have a possible stepping-stone to reform their friendship. That is assuming their friendship does need to reform. This may come across as cold, but some of the closest friendship ...

I liked this overall. Well done. In the event you do decide to continue with this with an additional fic I'll be interested in seeing where it goes.

This has been my favorite chapter to date. I have to say that I quite enjoyed the use of the chess moves between the bits of narration. Looks like Hanako has placed the ball in Hisao's court. I'm really interested in seeing where that goes, in addition to the upcoming interactions with Akira. Well ...

Me thinks that this chapter, while tense, was rather upbeat all things considered. However, with Hanako shutting herself off I imagine this was just a calm before that storm that has been looming for quite some time now. This is most likely going to get pretty ugly, pretty fast.

My girlfriend was pretty shy back in high school. How we interacted with each other back then reminded me a lot of some of the interaction Hanako and Hisao have in her route, and thus she ended up being my favorite.
