Re: Breaking the Sound Barrier [Update: 3/13]
You know what? I actually like your Shizune. It's probably the first fanfiction I read where that happened... I've liked Shizune in most fanfics she's prominent in. Then again I like her in general, so there's that. As for the chapter itself, really enjoyed it. Molly absolutely adorable. Looking fo...

Re: Yamaku Book Club
I LOVED this! I'm not usually a big Rin fan, but this fic is just great. Starts kinda slow, when it's just Hisao being Rin, but when Rin starts being Hisao it gets much better. Then Emi enters the picture, and it's pure gold from there. I loved when Rin first starts impersonating Hisao, and she just...

Re: Roles played
That was entertaining. Kinda feel bad for Lilly since she was apparently the only one who couldn't choose her class, but it was all in good fun. It'd be interesting to see this continued , but it's fine as a one shot too.

Re: Yamaku Book Club
Honestly I wasn't a fan. Wasn't a fan of the setting or the general tone of it. I don't really like stories that have his so dead before they start, or the fact that the backstory wasn't really set up at all. Makes it hard to connect with it. And I vote HAPPY!

Re: Disheveled [Ch. 2, 3/5]
Awesome to see this continued, I had forgotten about it. It looks Natsume at least knows she likes Naomi back, and is now just trying to figure out if taking the next step is worth it. Normally a plot line I really don't like, but it works here.

Re: Hisao and Kenji: Masterful One Shots! Lent Update
Yeah, I was rather confused by that line. It makes sense now. Well, as much sense as accidentally walking into a plain of torment while trying to get tea from the kitchen makes anyways.

Re: Hisao and Kenji: Masterful One Shots! Lent Update
Well, that was certainly interesting. When you called it the strangest one you've written yet I had a hard time believing you, but now I think you're right. I liked the Lilly perspective, and her being convinced by a dream/hallucination/vision thing that she loves George was a unique way of doing a ...

Re: Yamaku Book Club
I feel like Misha's speech patterns in the game are mostly put on anyways, so those not being prominent in this story isn't a problem. Makes Misha seem more real, in a way. And I actually liked this more than your H&K series. I took numerous breaks from that story when I read it.

Re: Yamaku Book Club
Really liked this story. Wasn't a huge fan of Linda early on, but she grew on me quickly enough. Of course any story with Hisao dating Shizune gets bonus points even if they aren't the focus. Honestly, there wan't much I DIDN'T like about this story. It kept my attention throughout, and perhaps most...

Re: Yamaku Book Club
It's possible the Yamaku Foundation purchased and plotted the land without having any clue about the convergence. Considering that it isn't a school specialized for magical students, but rather one where the councils seek out potential mages, I'd guess its placement there was an accident. That seem...

Re: Yamaku Book Club
It's strange to think this now, so many months after writing it, but when I wrote the Kenji reflection bit in Five Year Illumination - where he recalls the incidents leading to his becoming so reclusive - I struck on a very similar chord as Mirage did by having his aversion toward women manifest fo...

Re: Yamaku Book Club
Just finished the story for the first time. Overall, I really liked it. For some reason, it had a hard time grabbing my attention early on, but once I got to where Hisao was taking part in everyone's lessons, I couldn't stop reading(I was at chapter 6 when I started reading it today). As other peopl...

Re: BlackWaltz's One-stop Oneshot Shop (New: 25th Feb)
I like the letter, I think we have different interpretations of his relationship with Iwanako though. It doesn't seem to me that he was particularly fond of her or thought of her as more than just a girl who had a crush on him. I think he also resented the way she seemed to visit him in the hospita...

Re: Yamaku Book Club
I think Mirage's input would be awesome. I love the "behind-the-scenes" stuff, and while this probably won't be anything that detailed, it should still be interesting.

Re: Yamaku Book Club
I just started reading today and finished the first five chapters so far. I'll probably finish a couple more tonight. The slow pace is mainly because it's not a story that REALLY grabs my interest, at least not yet, but I'll get more into that when the meeting starts.
