Re: Learning the blues (HisaoxOC route) (working title)

Seems pretty enjoyable so far. Not a huge fan of using words like "otaku"(I'm not an anime fan so I had to look that up), and the relationship with Hisao did seem a little rushed, but besides that it seemed solid.

Re: Guilty [Short, Emi]

I liked it. I enjoy stories that take a scene and look at it from one of the girl's perspectives, and while Emi isn't my favorite girl, this was well done.

Re: Dancing: A Miki pseudo-route (updated 9/11)

Yeah, I wasn't big on the neck kissing either. Felt too forward. And Hisao was right, alcohol is bad for him. Made me a little upset with Miki(and Suzu for egging him on) for putting him in danger like that. I don't remember if he's told them of his condition yet or not, but it's the perfect excuse ...

Re: Dancing: A Miki pseudo-route (updated 9/11)

I hope Miki doesn't take too long to make a decision because one of my least favorite story elements in a romance is "I can't decide whether I like you or not so let me think about it for a week". I didn't like it when Hisao did it in Developments , so I doubt i'd like it here. It also loo...

That was funny. The description on how he got his disability was perfect.

Re: Dancing: A Miki pseudo-route (updated 9/7)

It seems like Suzu may have a crush on Hisao, which if that's the case, could make things awkward later on. Looking forward to more regardless.

If I had known my comment would have sparked this debate I'm not sure I would have made it.

That is very strange. If that's the case, they are an extreme minority. Most people prefer prose format.

Re: Iwanako: Mean Time to Breakdown {UPDATED 2014-9-5!]

That was some update! It made my emotions go all over the place. At first I was laughing(literally) at the hair styling scene, than I was intrigued by the Shizune and Misha conversations(it seems like Misha has a crush on Iwanako :) ), then I was annoyed at her during her argument with Nurse(I was c...

Re: After HighSchool (Follows Hanako's Good ending)

It wasn't terrible, but like Mirage said, lose the script format. That reason alone made this hard to enjoy.

Re: Dancing: A Miki pseudo-route (updated 9/3)

Have you tried "just pick[ing] up" an object that's 100+ pounds, and then carrying it a significant distance (including down a flight of stairs, because the library is on the second floor) with a severe heart condition? And I use "object" intentionally, as it's easier to carry a...

Re: Dancing: A Miki pseudo-route (updated 9/3)

The only weakness, at least from my perspective, is that it seemed at times like a setup for a Suzu route instead of a Miki one. However, I'm guessing that this there's a reason for this, so I'm going to stay tuned for the track meet. I noticed the same thing, especially when he called her cute. No...

Re: Dancing: A Miki pseudo-route (updated 9/3)

It seems at this point that that's the way Suzu's narcolepsy is going to be handled in most fics, realistic or not. Also, any reason Hisao couldn't have just picked Suzu up? Surely that would be easier than dragging her.

Re: Iwanako: Mean Time to Breakdown {updated 2014-2-23}

Looking forward to it. This might be my favorite story on the site. That always amazes me. I hope it continues to be after the next update. Well I'm a sucker for stories that aren't from Hisao's perspective(and bonus points if it's a girl), as well as AU stories, and this is a well written story th...
