I didn't think it was bittersweet at all either. It ended about as well as it reasonably could. Overall, I thought it was fun.

Well thats one of the more depressing things I've read in a while(I don't handle deaths well, even of fictional characters I know nothing about). Also seems a little overkill in the disabilities. For the most part, though, I agree. You have my interest.

Even though it wasn't the focus, I couldn't help but smile at the exchanged "I love you"s. Not a lot to comment on about this chapter, so just keep doing what you're doing. Its working.

It's probably just because of what I'm used to that it seems weird. I'm used to all doors that lead outside being locked at night. Your probably right though, that would be unnecessary in Japan.

Loved it. The talk between Mina and Hisao was well done. Glad to see her finally realize what Hisao was really trying to do and why he was angry with her. Also, loved everything about the last paragraph. That was hilarious. Nice bit of levity after the heavy topic of the previous conversation. Also ...

Really liked the talk between Hisao and Miki. That was sweet. And like someone already said, I liked how they both admitted their mistakes and moved on. Now they just need to figure out how to move forward, which should be fun.

My first thought was sun blindness(I'm pretty sure thats a real thing).

As for the chapter itself, it was fun. I like how Hisao doesn't actually like his sweatervest, and how Aoi was wearing one too. Looking forward to more interaction between the two.

It looks like her sisters may be just who she needed to talk to to realize how much if an idiot shes been. I don't expect it to be instant, of course, but she seems to be on the right path.

Great chapter. I was kinda wishing we would get one last conversation with her mother, but I'm not surprised it didn't happen. I really can't describe it better than the above poster, so I'll just say it was a great chapter that hit all the right emotional points.
