May as well dust off my account for this.
Works fine and boots slightly faster than original. (for me at least.) It also now works with the Steam overlay, which is nice.
Persistent data can be imported from 1.0; saves cannot, as they produce this:
File "game/ui_labels.rpy", line 853, in script ...

This was removed from Newgrounds. 
It's still on other sites though, and it is very good.
Except not, it's back on and seemed to be a problem with Konami and the Castlevania music used in it.
