I never saw a single sporty -> nerd or sporty + nerd person. Sports take a lot of time one can spend on VG, so it's one or another imo.

And yes, for the sake of completeness, I saw lots of nerdy -> sporty persons. Some of them are sitting here and running with Emi several times a week.

I want to echo what the posters above me said, real life responsibilities always come first and you are right to put this on hold until they are sorted out. Please don't feel rushed to bang out a chapter, we all do not mind waiting.

No worries from me about the wait, I'd much prefer that you be satisfied with your work as opposed to rushing out something half-baked.

The exposition at the beginning was just long enough to give a good feel of time/place, the only thing that wasn't completely smooth/flowing was Akira crying in the middle of a bar, but those kind of character traits are up to the author when working with characters ...

Hands are overrated, since there is no time limit I'm sure she could perform plenty of tasks one handed. When something does arise that isn't possible with one hand she could ask for help even with a language barrier. And I wasn't aware we needed evidence to make conjecture about fictional ...

She seems like the type to often go on camping trips with buddies, I think she'd be more than equipped to help out while also being easy going and easy on the eyes. Best of all 3 worlds.
