Re: Cheating Feeling

Weighing in on my own thread (which has been necroed by the necro gods): I did eventually play all of the routes, and the cheating feeling goes away as you get lost in the plot. It's not as bad as you think, as long as you remember you're playing a game, and you're not "cheating" on anothe...

Re: Hanako's Broken Heart Club

They'd only known each other for a month when I broke up with her. That was almost two years ago. Two years . That's pretty awful of your cousin. I could understand their initial desire to keep it secret, but two years is a pretty long stretch of time. Given that it's your cousin, you probably don'...

Re: Hanako's Broken Heart Club

My life's been turned upside-down. Turns out my cousin a.k.a. "the person I used to call brother" was dating my ex-girlfriend when I broke up with her. Nobody said anything to me, until my cousin decided to tell me yesterday, after she broke up with him. I don't know what to do anymore. t...

Re: Hanako's Broken Heart Club

And of course, Happy New Year. It's rough to be in a place where you don't want to be, especially if you're forced to be there, but there's something great on the horizon if you just wait for it. So have some tea, sit down, and enjoy the new year. So as one of those newbies, happy new year mate. Be...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Coconut water means normal juice or fresh from coconut? Coconut is pretty expensive here in central europe, but maybe I will try it next week although I dont like coconut :D About indoor biking I don't rly like it, I did it earlier and I was bored. Running 5km every 2nd day, but air is really shitty and its freezing outside :!: . I have hard time to get some balance in running, can't go more than ~5,5km coz I get bit sick every few weeks, so its like running few times and then 5 days off coz I feel high temperature and cough a bit. I eat vit ...

Re: Hanako's Broken Heart Club

Unfathomable as it might seem, impromptu trips from New York to Russia aren't exactly feasible for 99% of the population of this planet. The depressing thing is, the trip isn't that big of a deal--it was just a one time-shot for the relationship. I speak a bit of Russian, and if my parents knew the...

Re: Hanako's Broken Heart Club

I guess this place is as good to spill my story as any. I met her over this past summer. It was a classic--I was on a cruise of the mediterranean with my family, and while my parents spent the nights attending shows on the ship, I was free to roam around with my cousins. I met her by chance at a pin...

Re: Recommend a VN

Sixty pages is a lot to search through, but has anyone mentioned a Midsummer Day's Resonance?

Short, non-eroge, but thought provoking. A story about "true" love. It's translated by the magicians over at insani, and it's well worth a look.

No, but if you played KS because they were disabled White Nights is a bit of a stretch.

Give it a read first. It's not that long.

Rele-feels

For those of you feeling the feels, I found White Nights by Fyodor Dostoevsky to be disturbingly relevant to anyone who's played Katawa Shoujo. Short summary without spoilers: A man meets his lover over four nights, each one more special than the next. Like all Russian Literature, it is terribly den...

First time poster to the main HBHC, long time lurker though. We never said to each other once that we loved each other. even to this day, the best we can muster is "hello" and a catch-up conversation over coffee, or ideas for m comic she is still faithfully drawing for when ever she manag...

Re: Locations?

The 'station' scene or the 'city' scene is pretty unclear (in Lilly's story, it's where Hisao met Akira and Hideaki), but if I am to make a guess... It's in Tokyo, specifically Kawaguchi station. If you're going from Shibuya, you need to take the JR line to Ikebokuro, make a stop to switch so you c...

Locations?

Does anyone know what town specifically in Japan was photographed for the game?

I know the city is Sendai, but I'm more interested in the quiet countryside and rolling hills.

I'm heading over to Japan shortly, and would love to take a side visit to feel the feels where they were on the screen.

Re: your personal opinion of every heroine/route

Lilly: Favorite, in my opinion the most easily relatable to. Classy, elegant, and independent. Moderate depth and independence of character without making her manipulative or overly deep. What's not to love? If you can find a Lily, seize her and never let her go. This route seemed the most "rea...
