Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Finished W7d3 today. Still far from the 5k goal, my track is about 600m long and I can only run 5-6 rounds in the 28 minutes, which makes 3 - 3.6k. Or are the 5k in miles? I have a question to all you nutritionists! What should I eat in the afternoon, between lunch and dinner? Even if I'm hungry at ...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

So, I'm finally back on the track - holidays abroad kept me from running, just started w5 again. Nice to see you guys are also still trying your best. These f*ing stitches were killing me again today, I couldn't run the full 21 minutes. I guess eating a bit earlier (not after 9pm...) on the previous ...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Noted. I do not have the tracks on me however so I will get back to you with updated links and then update the 1st post. Alliteratively, if someone else gets working links posted before I do I will update the first post with those. Damn, you were fast. I wanted to fill the ellipsis I left with the ...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

So I've been sick and unable to run for the past two weeks. Today I wanted to go and repeat w5, but opening the window there's heavy rain outside. I decided not to go today. What do you guys usually do when it's raining? Snow wasn't a problem for me, but rain definitively is (I don't want to catch a ...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Dudes, I just said "bugger it" and skipped W5D2, going straight for D3. I still cannot believe it, I just ran for 20 bloody minutes! Woah, nice! I did a 2-day break because of the problems I had on tuesday and just finished W4D3, but still don't see me running a full 20 mins. Had some stitches ...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

However, yesterday and today went far worse than before. I got stitches and my chest hurt. I think it's the longer running without breaks, so W5D3 will probably be hard for me as well. dude, are you running every day? you shouldn't, recovery time is important! I started with Mon-Wed-Fri, but since ...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

W5D1 done, actually even more than that (6 minute jog, 2 minute walk, 6 minute jog, 2 minute walk, 10 minute jog). The energy is sort of there as long as I stay slow, but the lower back aches like hell. I fear this Friday, though. I just came back from W4D2 (seems like I'm a week behind you). I ...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

So does anyone have any tips for energy? I have found it harder and harder to get up and also to stay awake throughout the day recently. Running had helped for awhile but its getting to be I can't go through a day with out at LEAST 10 hours of sleep and even then I often end up falling asleep ...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

And yea, it's somewhere in the thread but I've no idea, and when I was looking for it before, I wasn't able to find it either. I will look through the whole thread then. Nothing found up to page 30 yet... [...]do a slight jog around the block[...] On the pavement, I guess? Running on concrete is a ...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Hi, thank you for this thread, it's really great! I started running and am currently in the second week of the "couch to 5k" challenge. Now I have a big request: could you post the track list of the running mixes? Especially for the first week mix. That would be really awesome! If it's somewhere in ...
