Re: Thoughts on the H-scenes?
Quite a few of them were relevant enough or at least added their own element to Hisao's relationship with his chosen love interest that they were worth having. Some of them just seemed to come out of nowhere because the writers thought they'd needed a sex scene, though. "Fappable" is not something I ...

Re: Nonchalance (11/15 - Chapter 1 "Pilot" Scenes)
But what do you mean with "passive voice"? I never suggested you use passive voice... That was me mixing up my English grammatical terminology stuff again. I can write like a boss but God help me if I need to say what any given thing is called. Sorry for the confusion. That's pretty much me in a ...

Doubtful. If anyone there actually wanted you to be dead, a lack of firearms wouldn't save you. Humans are very easy to kill, gun or no gun. And as to the topic, there's such a thing for maybe 5% of people who get really lucky. :P I meant suicide, but the reply was pretty funny . If you really ...

Misha would be the most annoying thing on two legs. And WAHAHA~! I see what you did there, you rapscallion you. Voice actors can do great things for visual-novel style storytelling (a good example is actually in the story modes for Persona 4 Arena . I don't think Chie Satonaka's "I DID NOT DISCARD ...

Umm, not sure I understand you Heartless Wanderer, I'm not very good at understanding people, But Thanks. Hope you like this horror "mash-up". Thank You. Let me clarify. Script format looks like this-- Character A: "Blah. Blah blah? Blah! Blah-blah blah." Character B: "Blah?!" Character A: "Blah ...

Likewise, Ryota only briefly reflected on the plane crash and only as a side-point to what he was really thinking of. Oooh, a plane crash. I was wondering about the kind of freak accident, that would drop a metal box on his head... Figured you'd explain later... How do you lose three limbs and an ...

make someone else's life difficult because of it. Which is exactly what's happening a lot sadly. That is not a result of alcohol, but of people being irresponsible with it. For that I blame people, not alcohol. Rule of thumb: whenever someone blames a thing for something stupid or evil that people ...

Re: Who Goes There?
Alright, I'm not reading this all in one sitting because I kind of have an article I'm supposed to be checking out for someone right now, but I want to say that the story looks interesting so far, in a really B-movie Resident Evil kind of way. I dislike the long chunks of script-format writing ...

Re: Is there such a thing?
That is a very healthy attitude to take. I'd disagree because he mentioned beer (I.E. gasoline and piss mixed and sold to people without taste buds) but that's otherwise a pretty good view on the matter. Well, I don't drink, so I wouldn't know. And I don't really care. People can drink whatever ...

Not sarcastic at all. There are a lot of unhealthy ways to approach exactly what you described and what you said your stance on the matter was is just about the healthiest mindset I can think of for it.H_Shot_W wrote:Can't tell if sarcastic, or . . .

Re: Lilly's Route
Yeah, the idea that Hisao died and the rest of the game was a hallucination or something is by no means an "interpretation." An interpretation takes what's there and reads for meaning. In order to see Hisao's death in this ending, you really need to read that death into the story, which isn't the ...

Re: Nonchalance (11/15 - Chapter 1 "Pilot" Scenes)
As long as you are sticking with limited pov, and keep a very close distance to the character, you do not have to distinguish thoughts from the rest of the text. The third person grammar it uses as opposed to first person is 'he/she' instead of 'I'. Other than that, they can (at a glance) be nearly ...

Re: Lilly's Route
Just like people who watch a review of a movie they never saw. I know that you're only referring to specific kinds of reviews, but I'd like to remind you that a lot of people do go to reviews to find out whether that movie is worth their time in the first place. In any case, it's not about who ...

I'll say nothing except that you should re-read the quote you quoted when you were talking about my third-person perspective thing. Sure, but that line comes two paragraphs later . By that time I had done all my wondering and dismissed it as "probably unimportant" You know, it's not an especially ...
