Re: Ask!

The creators of a piece are essentially parents. Once their work is introduced to the world, it takes on its own life and its own meaning. They're not too different from ink blots, really. Say someone paints a picture of a beetle, and another person sees this picture and believes it is a rabbit. Ar...

Re: First Playthrough... Now What?

Mint wrote:Why are you two even having this conversation?

I said the whole "that was mean" thing as a joke. Lighten up, geez.
People like to have this conversation. Fact that you have a problem with it means you haven't lighted up yourself.

Re: Ask!

The really amazing thing though is that KS has inspired a lot of people to improve their lives. I can see the "feels" coming from the romantic pathos that's all over the game, but there is absolutely nothing in KS that should inspire one get their shit together, start working out, get bet...

Not sure if that was sarcastic but that was pretty shitty. =p
Perhaps learning to type blindly could be useful (also much faster).

Re: First Playthrough... Now What?

Luckily there is an ignore feature available that blocks out all posts made by them. I'm actually curious as to why you decided to present your ignore list in such a grand and obvious manner. Seems to me that it goes against the very concept of ignoring them; you're still trying to send a message t...

Re: First Playthrough... Now What?

Still, it's really hard to put the game down. I have things to do, but I just want to keep reading... I hear ya. I'm actually afraid to start the game up now to play the other routes (only played Emi's as of now). I hate stopping in the middle of a scene and half-assedly reading the rest of the sce...

Re: In a year of so will you still play this game?

Honestly, I'm more interested to see who will be on this forum in a year and whether or not the community stagnates or dies. Topics like Hanako's Broken Heart Club and Emi Inspired Workout will most likely continue to be active, albeit a bit less than before. Those topics are more general of tone i...

Re: how one day blind led me to see more clearly

Considering the rather short span of evolution since we hit homo sapien and the even shorter span of modern science I don't think it's fair to judge our evolutionary possibilities based on a few cultures misuse of technology, even if it is somewhat of a seemingly vast epidemic, those societies who ...

Re: how one day blind led me to see more clearly

Technology has basically rendered us without need of evolution though. That's not true at all. There's maybe no NEED for evolution, as in a need to survive. But there's still room for improvement, rendering evolution needed. Our current state of evolution dictates how far we can go with technology....

Re: Hanako's Broken Heart Club

The main problem now is: I'm 12 grade, and I don't know what I want to do with my life. I don't know how old you are (a quick Google search about your grade shows me you're probably 17 or 18 years old) but that's absolutely normal. When I was at the end of high school, I had no clue what to do with...

Re: how one day blind led me to see more clearly

That was a fascinating experience to read about. You know, your tale is actually somewhat a story about how evolution made us lazy. Humans developed certain tools - our senses - with which we can navigate through life. And those tools got more and more refined to the point that we don't need to act...

Re: Hanako's Broken Heart Club

So what I'm saying is what if that happened except in real life with real people? I used to think that it was a great thing that I was attracted to so many different personality types, but now I'm thinking it might have serious repercussions. I'm sure you already realize this but I'll just repeat i...
